Born and raised in Wyoming, I transferred my roots to Nebraska when I attended Midland Lutheran College in Fremont. I graduated in 1995 earning my Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Education and English. I am currently working on my Master's Degree in English through the University of Nebraska at Omaha. I have been teaching 7th and 8th grade language arts in Omaha, Nebraska for 9 years. I have also been the gifted and talented facilitator for Monroe Middle School since 2001. I began consultant work with College Board in 2005 focusing on Pre-AP: Topics For Vertical Teams in English. My hobbies are marathon running, reading, and spending time with my adorable 5-year old son and loving husband.
