Pario-Lee Law earned her B. S. in Mathematics from Averett University and her M.A. in
Mathematics Education, Curriculum & Instruction from Virginia Tech University. She has taught high school
mathematics for 19 years in Virginia and was named The Outstanding Secondary Mathematics Teacher for the
National Science Foundation in 1997. For the past 11 years, she has been teaching at D'Evelyn Jr. Sr.
High School in Denver, Colorado which won the 2007 Siemens's Award for Excellence in Advanced Placement
Math and Science for the state of Colorado. Her teaching experience includes 29 years teaching AB Calculus
and 9 years teaching AP Statistics.
Pario-Lee's experience with Advanced Placement includes serving as a reader of the AP Calculus Exam for 6 years and a table
leader since 2003. During the 2008 Reading, she will serve as a Question Team Member by aiding in the presentation of the
grading rubric for one of the questions on the 2008 Exam. Pario-Lee has also served as a consultant for the College Board
for the past 8 years presenting workshops in the Western Region.
