Biographies

Michael Kim teaches at Schurr High School in Montebello, California. He has taught Adanced Placement courses in United States History, American Government, and Economics. He has been a reader for the U.S. History exam for seven years. For the past three years he has been a College Board workshop consultant in AP U.S. History and Pre-AP workshops. Formerly the Girls' and Boys' Varsity Tennis Coach, he is now striving for that elusive first hole-in-one if golf.

In addition to providing a tremendous amount of resources and ideas, he takes pleasure in instilling a sense of mission and enthusiasm in the participants who are and will be teaching AP U.S. History. Being very proficient in utilizing technology in the classroom, he will provide many useful strategies to participants in the use of technology.
