Biographies

Carey S. Inouye has taught at Iolani School in Honolulu, HI since 1977, currently teaching A.P. Physics B and A.P. Physics C. He holds an A.B. from Ripon College, M.S. and Ph.D. from University of Hawaii. Having graded A.P. Physics Exams from 1986-2002, he served on the A.P. Physics Test Development Committee from 1998-2002. His honors include the Presidential Award For Excellence in Science Teaching (1988), Tandy Technology Scholar Teacher Award (1990), and the Siemens AP Teacher Award (2006). He also has served as director of the Research Science Institute at MIT (2003) and Caltech (2004). As a College Board-endorsed consultant, he has conducted A.P. Physics teacher workshops in the United States and Singapore.
