Peter Flanagan-Hyde teaches statistics at Phoenix Country Day School, Paradise Valley, AZ,
where he is Assistant Head for Academic Affairs. Peter is keenly interested in schools and curriculum, having
taught at a number of independent schools over the last 30 years. He has taught AP Statistics since its inception
in the 1996-97 school year and has served as a Reader and Table Leader at the AP Reading. He is an AP Faculty
Consultant in Statistics and has conducted numerous College Board Workshops and Summer Institutes. Peter is on the
Editorial Board of Stats Magazine, a publication of the American Statistical Association, and writes a regular column
that focuses on AP Statistics. He has written a variety of articles and reviews for AP Central, the College Board's AP
web site, and contributes regularly to the AP Statistics electronic discussion group. Other publications include
coauthoring Sampling and Experimentation: Planning and Conducting a Study, a College Board AP Statistics Module,
the Test Bank for Statistics and Data Analysis by Peck, Olson, and Devore, TI-83 Plus Technology Manual for Statistics:
The Art and Science of Learning from Data by Agresti and Franklin.
