Edward Borges, B.A. and M.A., teaches Advanced Placement U.S. History and is the Assistant Principal
for Academics at Archbishop Riordan High School in San Francisco. Mr. Borges received is B.A. in history and teaching
credential from the University of California at Berkeley and his administrative credential and Master's Degree from
St. Mary's College in Moraga, Ca. Mr. Borges has taught high school for 38 years, AP U. S. History for 13 years,
and also has taught AP European History, AP American Government, and AP Physics. In 2002, Mr. Borges was selected by
the Herbst Foundation as the San Francisco Teacher of the Year. Mr. Borges has been a presenter at the AP National
Conference in 2003 and 2004. He has been an exam reader and an endorsed College Board Consultant since 2001.
